Port Authority NY/NJ: Truck restrictions on Port Street both directions between Brewster Road (Newark) and Marlin Street (Newark) 1 Left lane of 2 lanes closed As of Aug 3, 2026, Port St. will be reduced to one lane in both directions, and will be reduced to 11 feet wide. All eastbound oversize loads MUST utilize the Corbin St. ramp. All westbound oversize loads MUST follow the Marlin/Kellogg St. detour or utilize Outer Port St. All oversize loads MUST exit through the south via North Ave. Please call the Port Authority Police Department (PAPD) at (973) 578-2180 to request any oversize escort.
